How does it work?

The muscles around the brow work in opposition: some lift the brow, others pull it down. By placing small amounts of anti-wrinkle injections into the muscles that pull the brow downward (particularly the lateral orbicularis and depressor muscles), the lifting muscles are given the upper hand, allowing the brow to rise naturally.

What does the treatment involve?

After a careful brow assessment, micro-injections are placed at precise points around the brow and outer eye area. The appointment takes 15 to 20 minutes. You will see results within five to seven days as the muscles fully relax.

How long do results last?

Approximately three to four months, in line with standard anti-wrinkle treatments. Many clients combine this with their forehead or frown line treatment at the same visit.

Who is suitable?

The Pixie Lift works best for clients whose brows sit lower than they would like, or who have noticed increasing heaviness or hooding around the eye area. It is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. A consultation will assess your brow position and determine the best placement for your anatomy.

Aftercare

• Avoid rubbing the eye and brow area for 24 hours
• Stay upright for four hours after treatment
• Avoid exercise, alcohol and heat for 24 hours

Frequently asked questions

Will this permanently change the shape of my eyebrows?

No. Anti-wrinkle injections are temporary. The effect wears off over three to four months and your brows return to their natural position. If you love the result, you simply top it up.

Is this the same as a surgical brow lift?

No. A surgical brow lift repositions tissue permanently. The Pixie Lift achieves a more subtle lift through muscle relaxation, with no surgery, no scarring and no downtime. The degree of lift is more modest than surgery, which is also what makes it look so natural.

Can I combine this with other treatments?

Yes. It works very well alongside standard anti-wrinkle injections for the forehead and frown lines, and many clients have all three areas treated in one appointment. It can also be combined with fillers to further enhance the eye area.

Is it painful?

The needles are very fine and the injections are quick. Most clients describe it as a small sharp sensation. Numbing cream can be applied on request.

How soon will I see results?

Results begin to appear within three to five days and are fully visible at two weeks. A review appointment is included at two weeks.

What if I do not want too much lift?

We take a conservative approach and always discuss the degree of lift you are comfortable with before we start. We can adjust the placement and dose to achieve something very natural and subtle.
