How does it work?

The platysma muscle runs from the chest and collarbone up to the lower face. Botulinum toxin injected at strategic points along these bands relaxes the muscle, reducing both the visible cords and the downward pull, allowing the tissue to sit higher.

After assessing your neck anatomy, botulinum toxin is injected along the platysma bands on each side of the neck. The appointment takes 20 to 30 minutes. Results develop gradually over one to two weeks as the muscle relaxes.

Am I a good candidate?

You are likely a good candidate if you can see or feel vertical cords on your neck, particularly when tensing your neck muscles. The treatment is also beneficial for those who feel their neck looks older than their face. A consultation will confirm suitability and set realistic expectations.

What results can I realistically expect?
